the fact that this book is a audio book makes it easy on the eyes, you only need your ears and some common sense..
i recommend it for anyone who is in the biz of writing songs, and for everyone who wants to learn how.

This is the perfect marriage of subject matter and medium--WRITE SONGS RIGHT NOW in audio! I've just started listening and it's quite insightful; the pace is not too overwhelming, I'm able to jot some notes down while I listen. Clearly the author knows what she's talking about. I would definitely recommend this title.
This Audiobook covers the essentials of songwriting in an uplifting, fun way and fired up my creativity immediately. The Author has a great way with words and a lot of excitement on the subject. Some of the exercises are really simple, and if you do them they free you up to actually write, instead of complaining about the fact that you're not writing enough (which is mostly what I do). So yeah, the book does indeed help me to 'write songs right now'!
I must also say that I really enjoyed listening to the pleasant voice of the Author. She conveys her love of songwriting in much more ways than just words.
